Families, educators, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school/home environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.

One of the biggest challenges that many educators may face is a risk for emotional burnout. Oftentimes, in the learning environment educators may not be able to simply breathe. In this training, we will provide a series of opportunities for participants to share and discuss with others in the room through learning activities and awareness. This training will help participants to identify their emotional triggers, while discussing ways to manage and de-escalate negative emotions to prevent a burnout. Participants will leave with a weight off of their shoulders derived from a range of fun activities throughout the sessions, such as BINGO, charades, discussions, breathing exercises, and etc. Care packages will be given as a reminder of self-care principles.
The purpose of this training is to help participants to identify different behaviors that a child may display based on the characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Abuse is a major issue within our society and is often overlooked or not discussed. Many children attend learning centers on a regular basis and are being abused by either family members/guardians, educators, peers, and/or others within our community. Many children are silent, but crying out for help through different behaviors that they may display, but are being ignored. This training is designed to help participants to define abuse, identify warning signs of abuse, and understand their role as a mandated reporter. In order to stop abuse, we must be able to protect those that we service.
